I believe therapy should be a collaborative, compassionate space where you feel seen and heard. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relational principles. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic practices to support you in healing and growth. All of these approaches are evidenced-based, and through an integrated approach, we will explore how your identities, relationships, histories, and the systems around you shape your experience so that you can reclaim your story.
Below is an brief review of my professional disclosure statement, which if we enter a working relationship, you and I will review together and sign prior to engaging in services.
How Do You Do Your Work?
The main areas I specialize and work best with is our human development, ADHD, Autism, and Trauma, which are crucial aspects of an individual’s growth and well-being. I consider each of our developmental journeys in all of these areas, acknowledging the unique experiences and challenges that shape us, while also exploring how we can effectively meet those core needs we each carry, both collectively and individually. A typical treatment plan includes goals of self-understanding, management and navigation of our needs, and healing from any areas of psychological and emotional pain – enriching the relationship we have with our ownselves.
This is accomplished with integrating various therapeutic techniques and supportive practices that promote resilience and personal growth; ultimately fostering a sense of empowerment and fulfillment in each individual’s journey toward well-being.
Who Do You Work Best With?
I have enjoyed working a wide range of ages from as young as 4 and as old as 70+. While I have gained skillsets to work with a wide range of individuals, I do tend to work best with those generally 14-80 years old whom tend to be facing and navigating a wide range of concerns. Within those ages, I work well with helping navigating human development (individual or familial), heal and reprocess trauma/complex PTSD, as well as neurodivergent experiences.
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity‑affirming, and attentive to the experiences of ADHD, Autism, sensory processing, and executive functioning challenges. If you come from a bicultural or Latinx background, I honor the complexities of bilingual and bicultural experiences and offer sessions in English or Spanish.
Sessions are offered via secure telehealth for residents of North Carolina, with limited in‑person sessions in western North Carolina available upon request.
What are your Rates & Fees?
With billing insurance, you may be responsible for a copay. I am currently paneled with Aetna and CIGNA through Headway, and working to get paneled with Oscar Health, United Healthcare, and Oxford. I do accept BCBS, Aetna, and majority of the managed Medicaid plans (Amerihealth Caritas, Healthy Blue, and Wellcare) through Simple Practice. Furthermore, in efforts to provide equitable services, I do provide a sliding scale fee if you are a self-pay based on income level that will be explored during our consultation and intake; in practices aligned with social justice and equity, bartering can be explored in exceptional cases where the sliding scale fee is outside of affordability. Please be aware that if I make a mental health diagnosis for you in our work together, this will become part of your permanent health record.
Below are my rates:
30-minute individual session: $85
45-minute individual session: $135
60-minute individual session: $180
Individual session add-on service (+30 minutes to a 60 minute session): $30
Family Therapy (30-60 minutes): $180
120-minute Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA) & Diagnosis: $250
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit and debit cards, as well as HSA/FSA payments.
Professional Disclosure & Client Rights
Your privacy and rights are foundational to our work together. I uphold strict confidentiality in accordance with North Carolina law and the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics. What we discuss in session stays between us, unless there is a legal or ethical obligation to disclose—for example, if there is risk of serious harm, suspected abuse or neglect, or a court order.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #13445) and a National Certified Counselor. I am committed to practicing with integrity, trauma-informed care, and cultural responsiveness. You have the right to ask questions at any point, to review your records, or to end therapy whenever you choose. If concerns arise, you also have the right to file a complaint with the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
My intention is to co-create a safe and supportive space, where your autonomy, voice, and dignity are honored.
For telehealth sessions, you must be physically located in the state of North Carolina. Please ensure you have a private space and reliable internet connection for our meetings. Neither party may record sessions without prior written agreement.
If you are experiencing a life‑threatening emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. I generally do not provide crisis care outside of our scheduled sessions, unless explored and established in our consult and intake. However, I can help you create a safety plan and connect you with resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
